Diploma of Technical Analysis (ATAA)

Kaplan Online Higher Education (KOHE), in conjunction with the Australian Technical Analysts Association (ATAA) is offering two-subjects that lead to the Diploma of Technical Analysis, Dip TA (ATAA).  Upon successful completion of these subjects students apply to the ATAA for the Diploma to be awarded.

Attainment of the Diploma of Technical Analysis will provide a deeper knowledge of technical analysis through a qualification that is recognised both locally and internationally.

The ATAA provides details of  International Federation of Technical Analysts (IFTA) Accreditation.  The Dip TA (ATAA) qualification is recognised by the IFTA as equivalent to a Certified Financial Technician (CFTe). The CFTe is only issued to a member of an IFTA affiliated association such as the ATAA. Please refer to the ATAA website for more details.

IFTA Accreditation

The International Federation of Technical Analysts (IFTA) is a federated body of National Technical Analysis association's worldwide.  IFTA represents 21 associations located in most major economic countries and maintains a world-class assessment and examination process.

Syllabuses, assessment and examination processes available in some countries may be accredited as equivalent to the IFTA offering. The Australian Dip TA (ATAA) is accredited as equivalent to the CFTe.

Eligibility
To achieve the Dip TA (ATAA) you need to complete both subjects: FIN231 Technical Analysis and 9063 Specialised Techniques in Technical Analysis and be a current member of the Australian Technical Analysts Association (ATAA).
