Alternative Entry Pathways
If you do not meet the minimum education requirement for entry, you may be able to gain entry through alternative entry pathways such as Non-degree Entry and our HEADSTART Program.
Non-degree Entry
You may be able to enter any of our postgraduate courses based on your industry expertise and/or if you hold an academic and/or professional qualification that is deemed appropriate. Download the Non-Degree Entry Form for more information.
HEADSTART Program
If you are a university student in the final semester of undergraduate study, or you are a Kaplan Professional Education student in your final subject of an open-entry Diploma and you have relevant industry experience, you may be able to enrol in up to 2 core subjects on a provisional basis.
Find out more about HEADSTART here. Limited places are available for HEADSTART entry.
English Language Proficiency
If your undergraduate degree was not completed in English, or your work in the finance industry was not carried out in English, you must demonstrate English proficiency to the overall band score of 6.5 in the IELTS test with a minimum score of 6.0 for each section of the test.
A minimum score of 6.0 in each of the IELTS bands is needed due to the components of the courses and the need to communicate in a verbal and written form that requires superior understanding of the English language.
A minimum score of 575 on the paper-based TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) with a TWE rating of 5, or a minimum score of 233 on the computer-based TOEFL with an essay rating of 5, or a minimum score of 91 on the internet-based TOEFL with an essay rating of 5 will also be accepted.
You must submit a certified copy of the IETLS or TEOFL results with your enrolment form and other entry requirement documentation as applicable. Please note that English language tests have a currency of approximately 2 years.
